In this episode, we discuss how COPPA deems 13-year-olds to be “internet adults” and the implications of this 1998 policy on parenting. We highlight recent research that shows a frighteningly large percentage of kids under 13 who are regularly using social media apps as well as recent TikTok-challenge deaths in kids under 13.
